RF-A 18-2 continues at Eielson

A pair of U.S. Air Force A-10 Thunderbolt II aircraft taxi down the Eielson Air Force Base, Alaska, flight line as another pair of A-10s take off from the runway June 14, 2018, during an afternoon RED FLAG-Alaska (RF-A) 18-2 mission. Various active-duty and Air National Guard units deployed A-10 aircraft and personnel to participate in RF-A 18-2, and the realistic combat training is essential to the sucess of aircrew, as well as deployed maintenance and support personnel in sustainment of large-force deployed air operations.
