Welding Certification

EIELSON AIR FORCE BASE, Alaska -- Senior Airman Daronn Rawlins, 354 Maintenance Squadron, Aircraft Metal Technology Section, uses a Tungsten Inherit Gas welder and a Filler Rod too fuse two Aluminum tubes together on Dec. 19. He has been training for about a month now for his welding certification level two. Some of the requirements he must accomplish are to weld Titanium, Stainless Steel, Aluminum, Nickel, and Cobalt tubes together.
