Central Contractor's Registration:
This part of the process will be a little time consuming, but if you go in prepared, it won't hurt nearly as bad. The best way to do this is to read through the "Vendor's Corner" portion of the website. It will tell you everything you need to have to get registered with CCR.
Purpose of CCR:
To register government contractor's in a database utilized by all of the federal government. Once registered, you will be cleared to do business with all federal government agencies.
This registration is MANDATORY
. Without it, you will never receive an award from a federal government agency. If you have any questions during the registration process, call 1-888-227-2423 for assistance.
Federal Business Opportunities:
Once you've completed your CCR Registration, you're probably asking yourself: "How do I get government business now that I'm registered with CCR?" Obviously, you want an easy way to find out about as many government agency acquisitions as possible, right? The answer is in the link above: FedBizOps.
