U.S. Air Force Airmen from the 860th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron and 21st Airlift Squadron perform a flush on a C-17 Globemaster III cargo aircraft on Andersen Air Force Base, Guam, July 16, 2023. A flush is a contingency method to rapidly take the aircraft from a parked configuration to ready for takeoff in the event of an imminent attack.
