COLONEL WILLIAM A. REYNOLDS

Col. William A. Reynolds is currently the commander of the 354th Medical Group, Eielson AFB, Alaska. His duties include oversight of nearly 200 military and civilian employees and a budget of $5.2 million. The group provides medical, dental, and preventative health care to approximately 6,400 beneficiaries in an arctic environment.

Col. Reynolds received a direct commission in the Nurse Corps in July 1991 and was assigned to Keesler Medical Center, Biloxi, Mississippi. He has served in a variety of positions to include Assistant Nurse Manager and Element Chief of a 24 bed Critical Care Unit, the Chief of Operational Health Promotion and Public Health, a Medical Services Flight Commander, Medical Operations Squadron Commander, and Senior Executive Nurse Fellow in the Office of the Air Force Surgeon General. Prior to his current position, Col. Reynolds commanded the 959th Inpatient Operations Squadron located at Joint Base San Antonio-Fort Sam Houston, Texas.
