Colonel MICHAEL S. MULLIN

Col. Michael S. Mullin is the Deputy Commander, 354th Fighter Wing, Eielson Air Force Base, Alaska. In this role he is responsible for executing the wing's mission of delivering F-35 fifth-generation combat airpower to the United States Indo- Pacific Command. Additionally, the wing provides high-end, multi-domain combat training to U.S. and international partners during RED FLAG-Alaska, which is the Pacific Air Forces premier multi-national large-force training exercise. Col. Mullin graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in 2000 and earned his commission from Officer Training School in 2002. He earned his pilot wings at Vance AFB, Okla. in April 2005. He is a command pilot with over 4,000 hours in the F-16, T-38 and MQ-9. He has flown the F-16 operationally in PACAF, U.S. Air Forces in Europe, and Air Combat Command; including combat missions flown in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom, Operation Enduring Freedom, Operation Resolute Support, and Operation Noble Eagle. Prior to his current assignment, Col. Mullin was the Director, Combat Air Forces Special Access Programs Management Office, Headquarters Air Combat Command, Langley AFB, Va.
