"U.S. Marine Corps Maj. Sara Kirstein, the adjutant for the 2021 MCIPAC Birthday Ball, explains what the Marine Corps birthday means to her and what makes celebrating the birthday with a celebratory ball so important during the MCIPAC General Officer's Birthday Ball on Camp Butler, Okinawa, Japan, Nov. 5, 2021. Kirstein has been serving in the Marine Corps for 23 years and this is her tenth occasion serving as the adjutant for a Marine Corps ball. The Marine Corps ball is a timeless tradition that emphasizes camaraderie with a celebration of Marines to the left and right and the warfighters who have fallen before them. More
