Capt. Roxanne Buffano, Optometrist, 927th Aerospace Medicine Squadron, MacDill Air Force Base Florida is one of several medical professionals providing care for underserved villages of Northwest Alaska in support of Arctic Care 2018.Arctic Care 2018 was comprised of a joint and multi-national force providing medical, dental, optometry and veterinary care for underserved villages in the Maniillaq Service Area April 16-24. More


  1. This event is FREE and OPEN to the public!
  2. We are happy to announce a traditional airshow will be happening! More details to come!
  3. Ear protection is highly encouraged, especially for children.
  4. We will have food vendors!
  5. Don't forget to hydrate and bring sunscreen!
