Marines assigned to the 1st Maintenance Battalion Expeditionary
Manufacturing (EXMAN)unit, demonstrate the Scanning of objects and create a 3-D print of those scans during Ship-to-Shore Maneuver Exploration and Experimentation (S2ME2)
Advanced Naval Technology Exercise 2017. (ANTX17) One of the technologies on display is a 3D printer that allows Marines to use additive manufacturing to help in critical repairs on the battlefield.
