U.S. Coast Guard Astronauts Daniel Burbank and Andre Douglas discuss similarities between space and the sea, March 5th, 2024. Cmdr. Andre Douglas recently became the 3rd Coast Guard Astronaut joining two other Coast Guard Academy alumni, Bruce Melnick ’72 and Daniel Burbank ’85 who is currently a Professor of Practice in the Mechanical Engineering program at the Academy.
