U.S. Marines with Combat Logistics Battalion 22, Combat Logistics Regiment 2, 2nd Marine Logistics Group, embark tactical vehicles aboard a landing craft utility during Defense Support of Civil Authorities (DSCA) mission rehearsals in Norfolk, Virginia, July 23, 2024. Marines and Sailors with the II Marine Expeditionary Force (II MEF) Maritime DSCA Task Force conducted a full mission rehearsal in order to practice deploying as a team in support of civil authorities. This rehearsal was designed by II MEF and United States Fleet Forces Command to integrate and increase amphibious capabilities on the East Coast for potential humanitarian relief and disaster assistance missions during hurricane season. (U.S. Marine Corps video by Cpl.
