More than 3,800 Arizona National Guard members assembled Dec. 3, 2023 at Sloan Field in Mesa, Arizona, during a ceremonial mustering of troops. The event, held every four years, showcased the Arizona Guard’s readiness and preparation while bringing together Guard members from throughout the state.

“Today's muster highlights the agility, strength, and readiness of the Arizona National Guard,” said Air Force Maj. Gen. Kerry Muehlenbeck, adjutant general of the Arizona Guard. “It provides an opportunity to honor the dedicated service of our Soldiers and Airmen, while also celebrating the enduring support from our families, friends, employers, communities, and international partners.”
