Citizens of Sedalia, Mo., honored 2nd Lt. George Whiteman and his contribution during World War II with a wreath laying ceremony and flyover from Whiteman Air Force Base. Lt. Whiteman was one of the first American's to pay the ultimate price during WWII as he attempted to take off during the attack on Pearl Harbor and was shot down December 7, 1941. More
