Infantrymen, Sgt. Gurpreet Gill from the 1-2 Stryker Brigade Combat Team, is an American Sikh who has served in the U.S. Army since 2014. He was born in Jaipur, India, and immigrated to the U.S. when he was 24 years old in 2012. It was always his dream to join the Army.

He is acting as a cultural advisor during Yudh Abhyas 18 in Chaubattia Military Station, India. The 14th iteration of this bilateral exercise focuses on the sharing of military tactics and techniques, in addition to the cultural exchange between the partnered nations.
