U.S. Marines with Golf Company, Second Battalion, Third Marine Regiment (2/3) receive a basic survival techniques class from the Mountain Warfare Training Center (MWTC) instructors at LZ Owl in Bridgeport, California on 5 March 2013. The class covers how to utilize the different fire starting methods and techniques and is a part of the MWTC winter training package.
