More than 200 Soldiers assigned to the 14th Brigade Engineer Battalion are deployed to the August Complex wildfire in Northern California, at the request of the National Interagency Fire Center in support of the Department of Defense’s wildland fire fighting response operations, where the Soldiers work side-by-side with professional wildland firefighters.
