On March 22, 2025, the Great Place welcomed six Medal of Honor recipients to the installation. Lt. Gen. Kevin D. Admiral, Commanding General of the III Armored Corps and Fort Cavazos, greeted the distinguished guests, honoring their legacy of valor and sacrifice. As part of the Flagship Valor Tour, a flying tribute made possible by American Airlines, the visit recognized Medal of Honor recipients and all uniformed service members, past and present. The event also commemorated the grand opening of the National Medal of Honor Museum in Arlington, Texas. Soldiers across Fort Cavazos had the opportunity to hear firsthand accounts from the recipients and express their gratitude for their service. More
