U.S. Marines with Recruiting Station Phoenix, 8th Marine Corps District conduct their monthly-pool function in Anthem, Ariz., Jan. 11, 2025. Poolees from recruiting sub-stations North Phoenix, Deer Valley, and Arrowhead worked as a group to complete a geared-trail run. Poolees received classes from recruiters on nine line-radio calls, squad maneuvers, and casualty evacuation to prepare them for bootcamp. (U.S. Marine Corps video created by Sgt.
