U.S. Air Force F-35A Lightning II aircraft assigned to the 56th Fighter Wing fly over Arizona, throughout the fiscal year, from Luke Air Force Base. The 56th FW hosts partner nation F-35 squadrons, including Belgian Air Force F-35s, strengthening international collaboration. Since the arrival of the first F-35 at the 56th FW, the base has played an instrumental role in training the next generation of premier fighter pilots.
