U.S. Marines participate in Exercise Samurai 24.2 at the Central Training Area, Camp Hansen, Okinawa, Japan, Sep. 30 - Oct. 4, 2024. Headquarters Battalion Samurai exercises are designed to train Marines from non-infantry marine occupational specialty backgrounds through small unit leadership and tactics challenges used in stressful situations where decision making and cohesion are key.
