EIELSON AIR FORCE BASE, Alaska -- Members of the Eielson Air Force Base community pack cookies in annual Operation Cookie Crunch on Dec. 15. Hundreds of dozens of cookies are packaged up each year and delivered to families of deployed airmen and single airmen stationed on Eielson AFB. The event is not unique to Eielson, but more of an Air Force tradition.
