EIELSON AIR FORCE BASE, Alaska -- -- The Combined Federal Campaign drive came to an end Oct. 27th, with Eielson reaching the goal of 100 percent contact and $84,188 in contributions.
The key to this years drive, which began Sept. 19, was the hard work of the key workers. Each one of them contributed greatly to this year's campaign by staying active in contacting wing personnel throughout the entire drive.
There are over 1,800 organizations to donate through the CFC, 51 of which are local Alaska organizations. The CFC is the largest and most successful workplace fundraising model in the world.
The wing representatives would like to personally thank the Eielson community as well as each of the CFC Representatives for making this year's campaign a success.
The key workers devotion to constantly working toward 100 percent contact is greatly appreciated by the wing representatives and by the CFC. All of this generosity will make a difference in many lives.
People interested in helping with next year's CFC at unit or wing level should contact their unit commander as the wing and unit representative positions will be picked from interested volunteers.
