Eielson Air Force Base’s trusted traveler program has been suspended indefinitely as of Jan. 7.

Only personnel with a valid Department of Defense identification card, Eielson AFB visitor pass, or other base-issued pass will be allowed entry to the installation.

All guests age 16 or older without valid identification will need to be escorted to the visitor center by a DoD ID cardholder to obtain a visitor pass.

Travelers can expect increased wait times and delays at the Hursey Gate as 354th Security Forces Squadron personnel conduct 100 percent identification checks on all vehicles entering the installation.

For questions regarding visiting Eielson AFB, please contact the base visitor center at 907-377-3807.
