RED FLAG-Alaska kicks off
An aircrew member flies a simulated combat sortie over the Joint Pacific Alaska Range Complex in an F-16 Fighting Falcon during RED FLAG-Alaska April 18, 2011, Eielson Air Force Base, Alaska. RED FLAG-Alaska enables aviation units to sharpen combat skills by flying ten simulated combat sorties in a realistic threat environment.
