Article 15 punishments imposed from Oct 2009 through Jan 2010 at Eielson Published April 12, 2010 By compiled staff reports 354th Fighter Wing Legal office EIELSON AIR FORCE BASE, Alaska -- The following are Uniform Code of Military Justice actions taken against members of the Eielson Air Force Base community. A Senior Airman from 354th Security Forces Squadron, failed to obey a lawful general regulation while on temporary duty and was drunk and disorderly. He was punished with a suspended reduction to Airman First Class, forfeiture of $929.00 pay, suspended forfeiture of $929.00, restriction to base for 45 days, 45 days extra duty, and a reprimand. This airman was also sent home early from his deployed location for his failure to meet standards. An Airman from 354th Civil Engineer Squadron, failed to go to his place of duty on two separate occasions and failed to refrain from informing another Airman during an ongoing Security Forces investigation. He was punished with a reduction to Airman Basic, 15 days extra duty, and a reprimand. An Airman First Class from 354 CES, drove his vehicle while under the influence of alcohol. He was punished with a reduction to Airman and 20 days extra duty. An Airman First Class from 354 CES, was found to be derelict in his duties for driving on base while his driving privileges were suspended. He was punished with a suspended reduction to airman, suspended forfeiture of $784.00 pay, 30 days extra duty, and a reprimand. An Airman First Class from 354 CES, received an Article 15 for wrongful use of marijuana after testing positive during a random drug screen. He was punished with a reduction to Airman Basic, suspended forfeiture of $699.00 pay, and a reprimand. Due to the airman's record of previous misconduct he was subsequently discharged from the Air Force. An Airman First Class from 354 CES, committed adultery and also violated a lawful order to have no contact with another airman. She was punished with a reduction to Airman Basic, suspended forfeiture of $699.00 pay, 10 days extra duty, and a reprimand. He received a reduction to Airman Basic, suspended forfeiture of $699.00 pay per month for two months, 10 days extra duty, and a reprimand. Due to the airman's record of previous misconduct he was subsequently discharged from the Air Force. A Senior Airman from 354 CES, failed to report to the fitness center for mandatory physical training. He was punished with a suspended reduction to Airman First Class, 10 days extra duty, and a reprimand. A Senior Airman from 354th Logistics Readiness Squadron was found to be derelict in his duties due to drinking while on weekend stand-by and failing to stay awake while on duty. He was punished with a suspended reduction to Airman, forfeiture of $784.00 pay per month for two months, and 30 days of extra duty with 15 of those days suspended. An Airman First Class from 354 LRS, failed to report to his place of duty and was punished with a reduction to Airman with suspended reduction to Airman Basic, and 30 days extra duty with 15 of those days suspended. During the period of suspension, he failed to report to the fitness center for mandatory PT while also failing to meet the minimum shaving requirements as set forth in AFI 36-2903. This resulted in a Vacation Action by the commander and he was punished with a reduction to Airman Basic and 15 days extra duty. A Senior Airman from 354 LRS, was found to be derelict in his duties when he failed to attend five fitness classes per week as he was required to do for failing his PT test. He was punished with a suspended reduction to Airman First Class, forfeiture of $929.00 pay, and a reprimand. An Airman First Class from 354 Aircraft Maintenance Squadron, drank alcohol while under the legal age of 21. He was punished with a suspended reduction to Airman, suspended forfeiture of $824.00 pay per month for two months, restriction to base for 30 days, 30 days of extra duty, and a reprimand. An Airman First Class from the 354th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron, drank alcohol while under the legal age of 21. He was punished with a suspended reduction to Airman, suspended forfeiture of $784.00 pay per month for two months, restriction to base for 30 days, 30 days of extra duty, and a reprimand. An Airman from 354 AMXS, drank alcohol while under the legal age of 21. He was punished with a suspended reduction to Airman Basic, suspended forfeiture of $699.00 pay per month for two months, restriction to base for 30 days, 30 days of extra duty, and a reprimand. An Airman First Class from 354 AMXS, was found to be derelict in his duties for driving under the influence and providing alcohol to underage Airmen. He was punished with a reduction to Airman Basic, suspended forfeiture of $699.00 per month for two months, restriction to base for 45 days, 45 days extra duty, and a reprimand. An Airman from 354 AMXS, was found to be derelict in his duties for underage drinking and making a false official statement to his commander. He was punished with a reduction to Airman Basic, suspended forfeiture of $699.00 per month for two months, restriction to base for 30 days, 30 days extra duty, and a reprimand. A Staff Sergeant from 354 AMXS, willfully disobeyed an order given to him by a Senior Non-Commissioned Officer and was found to be derelict in his duties for negligent failure to follow proper procedures. He was punished with a suspended reduction to Senior Airman, suspended forfeiture of $1109.00 pay per month for two months, 30 days restriction to the base, and 30 days extra duty. A Staff Sergeant from 354 AMXS, was found to be derelict in his duties for failure to follow proper safety procedures per AFI 21-101. By not following proper safety procedures, he created an unsafe work environment placing him and others at risk of injury. He was punished with a suspended reduction to Senior Airman, suspended forfeiture of $1109.00 pay per month for two months, 45 days extra duty, and a reprimand. An Airman First Class from 354th Maintenance Squadron, was found to be derelict in his duties by driving on base while his driving privileges were suspended. This was the third time his privileges had been suspended and he was punished with a reduction to Airman, 15 days extra duty, and a reprimand. A Senior Airman from 354 MXS, drank alcohol while under the legal age of 21. He was punished with a suspended reduction to Airman First Class and a reprimand. An Airman First Class from the 354th Comptroller Squadron, was found to be derelict in his duties by failing to properly process retirement and separation actions. He was punished with a reduction to Airman, with a suspended reduction to Airman Basic, forfeiture of $314.00 pay per month for 2 months, and a reprimand. An Airman First Class was found to be derelict in her duties for drinking while under the legal age of 21. She also failed to obey a lawful general regulation by engaging in an unprofessional relationship with an officer and committing adultery. She was punished with a suspended reduction to Airman and 7 days of extra duty. A Captain was given an Article 15 for dereliction of duty by providing alcohol to an underage Airman, fraternization, and adultery. He was punished with a reprimand and the maximum allowable forfeiture of $2361.00 pay per month for two months. Please remember, you are responsible for your own actions - no one else. Moreover, there is nothing to stop you from watching out for the others around you and preventing them from doing something stupid...that is what being a "good wingman" is all about.
