Full at the inn Published May 8, 2009 By Andy Flores 354th Force Support Squadron EIELSON AIR FORCE BASE, Alaska -- In the midst of moving season, The Goldrush Inn would like to remind permanent change of station guests to make sure they make their reservations in advance. The Sourdough Inn consists of 35 one bedroom units and four pet-friendly one bedroom units. Temporary Living Facility rooms are limited for the month of June 2009 due to PCS season. All personnel that are PCSing are recommended to make tentative reservations for their Date Eligible for Return from Overseas month, even if they don't have a current departure date. Currently, pet units are booked until August 2009. PCS guests with pets, call well in advance for reservations. If pet rooms are not available but regular rooms are, no non-availability forms can be issued. Pets are not allowed in the regular TLF rooms and if a guest is found with a pet in the room, they will incur $150 charge for the violation. They will also be asked to vacate lodging the following day per AFI 34-246. Guests, whether or not they are about to PCS in or out, have the same priority status and are allowed up to 30 days if space is available.
