Article 15 punishments imposed in October 2008 at Eielson AFB

EIELSON AIR FORCE BASE, Alaska --  An airman from the 354th Force Support Squadron drove their personal vehicle when their driving privileges were suspended and then lied to their first sergeant about it. The airman was reduced to the grade of airman basic, was restricted to Eielson Air Force Base for 15 days and had to do 15 days of extra duty.

An airman first class from the 354th Medical Operations Squadron was more than three hours late for work and arrived drunk. The airman first class was reduced to the grade of airman and was reprimanded.

A senior airman from the 354th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron drove a government vehicle when his driving privileges were suspended. The senior airman received a suspended reduction to airman first class and had to do 30 days of extra duty.

An airman from the 354th AMXS was caught drinking alcohol while underage. The airman received a suspended reduction to airman basic, was restricted to Eielson AFB for 30 days of which 15 of those days were suspended, and had to do 30 days of extra duty of which 15 of those days were suspended.

An airman from the 354th Maintenance Squadron gave alcohol to someone who was under the legal drinking age. The airman received a suspended reduction to airman basic, was restricted to Eielson AFB for 14 days, had to do 14 days of extra duty and was reprimanded.

A senior airman from the 354th MXS falsified a federal firearm form in order to purchase a firearm for an individual who was underage. The senior airman received a suspended reduction to airman first class, forfeiture of $250 pay for two months with one month of the forfeitures suspended and was reprimanded.

An airman first class with the 354th AMXS caused damage to an aircraft by repeatedly hitting it with a replacement part. The damage totaled $13,642.92. The airman first class received a suspended reduction to airman, forfeited $100 pay for two months and was restricted to Eielson AFB for 30 days.

An airman first class from the 354th AMXS was at least 30 minutes late for work on two different days. The airman first class was reduced to airman, received suspended forfeiture of $250 pay for two months, was restricted to Eielson AFB for 45 days with 15 of those days suspended and had to do 45 days of extra duty with 15 of those days suspended.
