Michael Lantz, 354th Operations Support Squadron is the Hall of Fame nominee for the week of Aug. 15 to 21. Hometown: North Pole, Alaska. Years in service: Seven. Family: Wife, Staff Sgt. Lesley Lantz, and daughter, Abigayle. Education: Two years of college. Previous Assignments: Langley AFB, Va. Self-Description: I'm a family-oriented, motivated individual who enjoys taking full advantage of what life has to offer. I take more enjoyment out of seeing those I supervise and lead succeed in their endeavors, than I do myself. One thing most people don't know about you: I'm a third-generation Airman, and a second-generation air traffic controller Hobbies: Skydiving, fishing, hunting, tying fly fishing lures, snow machining, four-wheeling and camping. Heroes: My father, my brother, and my wife. Long-term Goal: Have a long, meaningful life with my wife and family, make chief master sergeant and run my own facility.
