354th Security Forces Light Up the Night with Defender Training

The 354th Security Forces Squadron Combat Arms Training and Maintenance flight qualifies Defenders during an annual qualifications training course at Eielson Air Force Base, Alaska, Oct. 28, 2024. Defenders must qualify annually on night time firing with PEQ-15 laser aiming devices shooting M4A1 carbines and M18 pistols. A portion of the qualification included the use of night vision goggles. Qualifying Defenders on small arms annually aims to ensure safety procedures and the proper use of equipment.
