EIELSON AIR FORCE BASE, Alaska -- Military members have many different options in the way they can serve. An in-service recruiter allows active duty members to  better understand these options and help make a transition to a part-time status through the Air Force National Guard or Reserves.

Master Sgt. Jennifer Liddicoat, 353rd Recruiting Squadron in-service recruiter, recently stepped into this role for Eielson. Liddicoat has been at Eielson for just over a month and expects to make a big impact for the base’s active duty populace.

"My purpose is to help active duty members transition into the Air Force Reserve or give them the option to continue serving on a part time basis," Said Liddicoat. "I think it's amazing to be able to have a way for members whose purpose changes for joining to still be able to continue serving."

In-service recruiters like Liddicoat play a valuable role in the retention of Airmen, ensuring service members have the ability to serve the way that works best for their goals and aspirations.
