Why is serving in the Air Force important to you? It is important because I get to serve my country and it is also a family decision.

What moment or accomplishment as a member of the Iceman Team are you most proud of and why? I am most proud of being awarded Airman of the Quarter for my unit. This is special because I have not been stationed here for a year. This is an award that is given out to high performers and it was nice to be recognized by my supervision.

What is your favorite part of your job? I like being involved in critical decisions of aircraft maintenance. I chair meetings that decide what maintenance will be accomplished during aircraft downtime.

Who inspires you and why? My sister inspires me because she is the one I look up to the most. She joined the Air Force after my brother, which inspired me to join too. She is always there to help me even when she has her own things going on.

What's your favorite part about being in Alaska? I love the snow and being in a place so different then home.
