Why is serving in the Air Force important to you? Serving in the Air Force is important to me because it gives me the opportunity to experience things I might not have done myself, like moving to Alaska. I like to travel and learn new things and the Air Force definitely helps me with that.

What moment or accomplishment as a member of the Iceman Team are you most proud of and why? My proudest moment was when I finished dimensioning the airfield paint lines for a paint striping project earlier this year. I worked on it for about three months, and it was nice to see it completed.

What is your favorite part of your job? I was recently moved to the Requirements and Optimization section to aide in consolidating data for various utilities, like plumbing and electrical, for the base. Before that, I was in construction management where I surveyed construction sites and documented the progress of the project. My favorite part was to see an empty lot become a building from the ground up.

Who inspires you and why? My mother and father inspire me. They encouraged me to join the Air Force, especially after my mother served in the Army for 20 years and my farther did a four year enlistment. Joining the Air Force is one of the best decisions I have ever made, and I have my parents to thank for that.

What's your favorite part about being in Alaska? My favorite part about being in Alaska is the summer. I enjoy warm weather the most, so I always look forward to it.
