Why is serving in the Air Force important to you? Serving in the Air Force is important because it helped me get my life in order and was able to give me the flexibility I need to be with my family. The Air Force continues to help me with my career and education. It's a big part of my family's life.

What moment or accomplishment as a member of the Iceman Team are you most proud of and why? One of my accomplishments was being recognized by the 11th Air Force Commander with a coin for my part in closing the base out in Fiscal Year 14.

What is your favorite part of your job? I just moved to customer service and I look forward to assisting members with their separation and retirement. Before the move, I was working on the budget side of the office and I liked working with all of the resource advisors and helping them with any issues they had with their budgets.

Who inspires you and why? My dad inspires me to be a better Airman because while he was in the Air Force he was the go to person. He knew everything about his job, people could count on him and that is what I want to be. I want people to be able to count on me to get their financial needs taken care of. My dad served for 30 years and if the Air Force called him back to service he would go with a smile on his face and pick up where he left off. He loves the Air Force and I want to follow in his footsteps and be the best Airman I can be.

What's your favorite part about being in Alaska? My favorite part of Alaska is all of the scenery. It is beautiful year round. In the summer and winter, Alaska has a lot to offer. I like to take road trips to Valdez and I look forward to seeing Seward this summer.
