Why is serving in the Air Force important to you? It's my way of life. Serving for the best country in the world is a privilege I take seriously.

What moment or accomplishment as a member of the Iceman Team are you most proud of and why? I can't put my finger on just one thing. When we all get together as a base for events such as the steak fest, sports day, etc., and seeing the impact knowing I had a hand in helping make some things flow well is fulfilling to me.

What is your favorite part of your job? Honestly, the pressure. It sounds crazy, but knowing that if I don't do my part, then basically a lot of the mission could fail. It's part of what drives me to do well. I would say I work best under pressure.

Who inspires you and why? My uncle inspires me. He's essentially who taught me right from wrong and how to be a man. He held me to a higher standard and if I didn't meet that, there were consequences. It makes you take everything seriously so you won't slack off in any way.

What's your favorite part about being in Alaska? I love the cost of living allowance and being able to do outdoor events that I never would have been able to do if I wasn't stationed here. Alaska is a beautiful place and I try to use the opportunity to take it all in.
