The seven Airmen selected for promotion are: Cornelius, Stephen W., 354th Aircraft Maintenence Squadron Labrie, Kevin R., 354th Force Support Squadron Mann, Jonathon R., 354th Operations Support Squadron Nugent, Matthew A., 25th Air Support Operations Squadron Randolph, Timothy L., 354th Civil Engineer Squadron Rice, David R., 354th Comptroller Squadron Sterner, Timothy J., 354th CES The wing had a selection rate of 31.8% Of the 2,023 senior master sergeants eligible for promotion to chief, 400 were selected; a 19.77 percent selection rate, Air Force Personnel Center officials announced today. Airmen will be able to access their score notices on the virtual military personnel flight and the Air Force Portal. Enlisted promotions are based on weighted factors including time in grade, time in service, enlisted performance reports, medals, skills knowledge tests (for staff through master sergeants) and promotion fitness exams. For senior and chief master sergeants, selection board scores are also included. The average score for those selected was 671.81, with an average time in grade of 3.08 years and time in service of 22.24 years. The average score for enlisted performance reports was 135. Average decorations score was 24.30, and the average promotion fitness exam score was 76.31. The average board score was 388.14. Those selected will be promoted according to their promotion sequence number beginning in January. Selections are tentative until the data verification process is complete, which is no later than 10 days after the promotion release date. Airman will be notified if their selection is in question.
