Duty Title: NCO in-charge of inventory, 354th Logistics Readiness Squadron

Hometown: Bartlett, Tennessee

Why is serving in the Air Force important to you? Serving in the Air Force is important to me because as a NCO, I am given the privilege to help train and mentor Airmen who will continue to serve after my time in the Air Force is over.

What moment or accomplishment as a member of the Iceman Team are you most proud of and why? There isn't one particular moment that I'm most proud of.  I'm proud of the Airmen and NCO's I work with that work together to get things done when things need to happen.  That's the nature of logistics. We're always able to tackle whatever is thrown at us.  I am also really proud of my Airmen who have taken what they've learned about inventory trends and trained other Airmen on preventing loss, damage and ultimately saving tax payers dollars.

What is your favorite part of your job? Our job doesn't just require inventorying. My Airmen and I conduct research when assets are out of balance and we analyze trends for problematic conditions.  I like when we can pinpoint problems and help mitigate them in the future by providing personnel with the training and information necessary to keep the problems from happening again.

Who inspires you and why? My family inspires me. My children are my reason for everything and my husband's positivity helps keep me motivated.

What's your favorite part about being in Alaska? Summers, camping and fishing.
