EIELSON AIR FORCE BASE, Alaska -- Senior Airman Adam Schiffer, 354th Operations Group client support administrator, performs maintenance on a computer Feb. 5, 2008, at the 18th Aggressor Squadron. Airman Schiffer changes the name of each computer in the 18th Aggressor Squadron due to the Air Force naming convention, in order to meet this standard each computer with only 13 character names much be changed to have 14 characters. Microbiology Techs

The blood of a two week-old infant is collected for a Phenylketonuria (PKU) screening on December 12, 2007 at Eielson AFB, AK. PKU is a recessive genetic disorder that can cause problems with brain development, which could lead to mental retardation and seizures.
