Marines partake RF-A 08-3
EIELSON AIR FORCE BASE, Alaska --An F-18 pilot and crew chief, both from Miramar Naval Air Station, Calif., go through a pre-flight inspection before participating in a RED FLAG-Alaska 08-3 Exercise June 19, 2008. Red Flag-Alaska is a series of Pacific Air Forces commander-directed field training exercises for U.S. forces, provides joint offensive counter-air, interdiction, close air support, and large force employment training in a simulated combat environment.
