U.S., Allies ramping up for RF-A 11-2
An F-16 Fighting Falcon is prepared for shutdown after completing a familiarization flight July 6, 2011, Eielson Air Force Base, Alaska. The F-16 is assigned to the 36th Fighter Squadron, Osan Air Base, Republic of Korea. The 36th FS is participating in RED FLAG-Alaska 11-2, a two week long exercise providing aircrew realistic combat sorties, increasing their chances of survival in combat.
