Staff Sgt. Sean Tao prepares a KC-135 Stratotanker for takeoff April 26, 2011, Eielson Air Force Base, Alaska. The KC-135 is an air refueling tanker aircraft vital to air combat missions. Air crew members gain invaluable experience during the RED FLAG-Alaska exercises by training under simulated air-combat situations.
