Operation Bug Out

EIELSON AIR FORCE BASE, Alaska-- Christopher and Ryan, sons of Tammy and Lt. Col. Steve Brewer, 353rd Combat Training Squadron, pose at a static gun display after getting their faces painted camouflage Jan. 3 during Operation Bug Out. Operation Bug Out's purpose is to help ease the stress and anxiety that youth may feel due to deployments and local military exercises. The operation is geared towards dependents aged 9-18; the program is a child friendly version of what their parents would experience during a deployment or exercise.
