Arctic Fire

EIELSON AIR FORCE BASE, Alaska -- Airmen of the 354th Fighter wing check their targets down range Nov. 29, 2007 at the small arms range. Eielson's small arms range trains roughly more than 1,900 people with the M16 and M4 rifles and M9 pistol per year, the range is still capable of qualifying Airmen for firearms in arctic temperatures, going as low as negative 40 degrees.
