Sled Hill opening

EIELSON AIR FORCE BASE, Alaska-- Two Anderson Elementary School students anticipate the ribbon-cutting to officially open the new sled hill located behind the school during a ceremony Nov. 20. Around 300 students came to participate, receiving a speech from Col. Brian Maas, 354th Fighter Wing deputy commander, enjoying juice and cookies and five sled winners got the priveledge of sledding down the hill. The hill was relocated behind the school on what is legally property of the Fairbanks North Star Borough, who gave Eielson permission to put the hill there.
