Combat Search and Rescue at Red Flag-Alaska
EIELSON AIR FORCE BASE, Alaska -- A pararescueman repels from HH-60 Pave Hawk helicopter prior to rescuing Navy Lieutenant Caleb Hogg during a combat-search-and-rescue training scenario at Red Flag-Alaska. Staff Sgt. Marc Richard, a survival, evasion, resistance and escape specialist from 353rd Combat Training Squadron, oversees the training exercise. The multinational training at Red Flag-Alaska helps to build familiarity between the allies in the Global War on Terror. The Pave Hawk belongs to the 210th Rescue Squadron from Kulis Air National Guard Base, Alaska. (U.S. Air Force photo by Master Sgt. Brandt Smith)
