Navy Arrive At Red Flag 07-3

EIELSON AIR FORCE BASE, Alaska -- A Navy C-9 uses its hook to catch the arresting cable on Eielson AFB flight line July 11, 2007. Red Flag-Alaska is an exercise used to sharpen air combat skills by flying ten simulated combat sorties in a realistic threat environment. But safety is something that is never taken lightly when it comes to the Airman and Aircraft. (U.S. Air Force photo by Airman 1st Class Christopher Griffin)
