Safe to slide

EIELSON AIR FORCE BASE, Alaska--Ken Sample and Dewel Pettway, Interior Girls Softball Association field workers, use a shovel and pick-ax to dig a hole for first base at the Ben Eielson Softball Field June 29. The Raven's softball field recently recieved a complete upgrade which involved removing sharp stones from the field and replacing it with a special in-field mix of dirt.
