Can I hitch a ride?
EIELSON AIR FORCE BASE, Alaska--A moose strolls past an 18th Fighter Squadron F-16 on the flightline here June 22. Moose are common on Eielson and occasionally they can be found getting an up close and personal look at aircraft on the line. The Alaskan moose is the largest in the world; adult males weigh 1,200 to 1,600 pounds and adult females weigh 800 to 1,300 pounds. (U.S. Air Force photo by Senior Airman Justin Weaver)
