EIELSON AIR FORCE BASE, Alaska -- Airman 1st Class Kenneth Wagner, 354th Operations Support Squadron air traffic controller, releases a new ATIS Automatic Terminal Information Service to all pilots on May 23. The ATIS is information pilots can repeat that contains the type of weather there is, wind direction, and wind speed, and is updated every time the conditions change.
