Fitness Center Ground Breaking Ceremony

EIELSON AIR FORCE BASE, Alaska -- Assistant Fitness Director, 354 Services Squadron, Master Sgt. Susan Trejo speaks during the ground breaking ceremony, 354th Services Squadrons Baker Field House May 18 at the future location of the $24 million, 60,000 sq. ft. facility. The addition includes an indoor playing field allowing for intramural play of flag football and soccer, a 1/8 mile running track enabling year-round Air Force Fitness Management testing, and a weight-room. The facility addition will enhance opportunities to maintain and improve fitness training levels as well as accommodate recreational demands often hampered by Interior Alaskan winters extreme elements.
