EIELSON AIR FORCE BASE, Alaska -- This is where the Base Water Treatment Plant begins and ends it's process to ensure quality water is flowing throughout the base's main distrobution system. Water is pumped from the base Well House (through the bottom pipeline) to 6 filters inside the plant, which filter this raw water to become treated water. Treated water (begins it's process in the top, black pipeline) goes into a clear well and is pumped out from the service pumps, and injected with disinfectant and Phosphate. Floride is then, injected at the service water line as the last process to ensure water is ready to go through the base distrobution system (treated water ends it's process at the top, black, pipeline).
